Soniya is a practicing immigration attorney at a local nonprofit and joined the MNFEI Board in 2026. In addition to her legal knowledge, she also brings a passion for social justice and ensuring that people in our community have fair access to legal advice, education, community involvement, and daily basic needs.
When she's not at work her passions include spending time with her husband and their two dogs; watching the Vikings; and reading.
